Review by hotel critic
During my recent business trip to Toulouse, I had the pleasure of staying at the Plaza Hotel Capitole, perfectly nestled just moments from the iconic Capitole de Toulouse. The location was simply outstanding, allowing me to explore the city's rich history while enjoying the vibrant atmosphere of the surrounding area. Our spacious room, with its stunning view of Capitole Square, was a delightful retreat, offering a relaxing haven in the midst of our busy schedule. The hospitality was evident from the moment I arrived; the reception staff were genuinely helpful and exuded a warmth that made me feel at home. While I opted not to dine at the hotel, the enticing breakfast spread tempted my interests with its variety, reflecting the local culinary offerings. As a history teacher, the proximity to significant attractions like the Basilica Saint Sernin only added to my delight, making this hotel an ideal base for those eager to dive into Toulouse's captivating past. Plaza Hotel Capitole presents an excellent choice for travelers seeking both comfort and cultural immersion—though I believe the hotel could enhance its appeal with added facilities, such as a fitness center.
